about bigteetrades

We are a purpose‑driven financial market trading company built on one simple belief: economic opportunity should translate into community upliftment.

Our core business operates in the financial markets, where we generate sustainable revenue through disciplined trading strategies. What makes us different is what we do with those profits. Instead of wealth ending at the balance sheet, we reinvest it directly into the communities that raised us — creating pathways for young people to grow into confident, skilled, and ethical leaders.

At the heart of our mission is a structured soccer development academy for young boys, designed not only to nurture athletic talent but to shape character, discipline, and leadership. Alongside sport, we provide mentorship and exposure to multiple life and professional skills — ensuring that every child, regardless of background, has access to opportunity.

We believe that every young person has value, whether on the field, in the markets, or in the classroom. Our model ensures that no one is left behind — everyone has a role to play in building a stronger, more capable community.

Some Facts

WHY THIS WORK MATTERS

The Reality of a Young Boy in the East Rand (Ekurhuleni)

  • Family Structure:
In Gauteng, fewer than one‑third of children live with both parents, with many raised by single mothers or extended family, affecting emotional support and household income.

  • Economic Pressure:
Large parts of Ekurhuleni experience persistent household poverty, with youth unemployment exceeding 45%, limiting role models and exposure to viable careers.

  • Education Outcomes:
Learners from low‑income households consistently underperform academically, with learning gaps emerging as early as primary school due to limited access to resources and support.

  • Soccer Aspirations:
Soccer is the most accessible and culturally significant sport in townships, often viewed as the only visible escape from poverty — yet only a fraction progress professionally due to lack of structure and funding.

  • Impact of Financial Constraints:
Costs related to transport, equipment, nutrition, camps, and trials prevent many talented boys from advancing, despite ability and commitment.

This is the gap our organization exists to close — by pairing opportunity with structure, guidance, and sustainability.

Reviews

This organization doesn’t just train boys to play soccer. They support education, discipline, and character. I’ve seen real growth in confidence and focus

The academy gave me structure and discipline. Soccer brought me in, but the mentorship taught me how to think about my future. I feel more confident at school and in my choices

Thabo M. (Soccer Academy Participant, Age 15)

I wasn’t interested in soccer, but the trading mentorship showed me another path. I’ve learned responsibility, patience, and financial skills that I never thought were possible for someone from my background.
